About Andy & Emma

Following a major brainstem stroke, which devastated both of our lives, we were separated by Andy's ten-month stay in hospital. Andy coming home was wonderful, however, in time, we found being confined within the same four walls a challenge, so we began trying to find places we could go away to for a fews days. Our first venture was to a specialist hotel that catered for people with various disabilities by providing mobility equipment and care. As the years went by, we became more adventurous, attempting ‘normal’ holidays, and arranging the equipment and care ourselves. The bungalow in Dawlish is our idea of what a holiday home should be.  Using our experience of holidaying with a disability over the last years. We have tried to address some of the biggest challenges we have faced  finding suitable accommodation.
